This 1907 lecture hall space is well known for it’s acoustics, but has also been known for its lack of accessibility. As part of an ongoing effort to remove barriers, the Client engaged elagin architecture to provide an accessible route to and throughout this facility, including restrooms serving the space. The solution was complex due to historic infrastructure, but was ultimately successful through the installation of lifts, door operators, re-grading of pathways and removal of steps where possible.
