The 1970 Scaife Gallery has a grand main pedestrian entry paved with granite and marked by a modern water feature. Most, however, enter the museum from the parking lot side, which lacked identity. elagin architecture worked with a Eichenlaub Landscaping to soften the parking lot edge and create visual markers for visitors. The intervention included defining walking paths through bollards, planting beds, furnishings and textured hardscaping.
