A library’s reading room showing an aging design with underperforming systems and lacking infrastructure for new technology was redesigned to include LED lighting, A/V systems, IT systems, ventilation, and new casework for shelving, laptop stations, displays cases, radiator enclosures & matching doors. The challenge was re-establishing the room’s Beaux Arts lines while providing all the systems to the space in a respectful, non-intrusive manner.
